1. Birmingham, Largest City In Alabama
The city of Birmingham claim the title of Alabama’s #1 destination as determined by travelers on TripAdvisor. The historic southern city has dozens of attractions and a unique charm that makes it no wonder why this particular southern gem tops the list. Of the many things to do in the city, our favorite is to catch a show at the beautiful Alabama Theatre, Birmingham’s #6 top attraction. The venue is amazing and a slice of well preserved history. Also a must-see while visiting Birmingham is the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, rated the city’s #1 attraction. The building itself is unique and memorable and the exhibits are without a doubt some of the best motorsports exhibits in the country.
2. Mobile in Alabama
Mobile is home to the top rated attraction in the whole state. The Battleship USS ALABAMA was reviewed and chosen by travelers as Alabama’s top attraction. The Battleship is located in Mobile’s Battleship Memorial Park and has good company. It is surrounded by the Submarine USS DRUM and over 25 aircraft. The Battleship is open to be explored by the public, so get out there and see the history!
3. Gulf Shores, Alambama's Party Destination
Gulf Shores is Alabama’s party destination for spring breakers. The area is known for its white sandbeaches and warm gulf water. During the summer there are ton of attractions for the family, including the Zoo and bumper cars.

This southern city has over 200 years of rich history to offer visitors. With great attractions such as the Alabama Constitution Village where period characters go through their daily chores and activities, the community of Huntsville as a whole offers a unique look into the past.
5. Montgomery, Capital City Of Alabama
Montgomery is a brilliant mix of southern culture and modern thrills. The city offer literary buffs the Fitzgerald Museum and history buffs tons of civil rights museums and historical sights. Kids and adults can waste away hours at the Montgomery Zoo. From the delicious southern cuisine, including black-eyed pea soup to country ham and red-eyed gravy to long, to the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Montgomery has a lot to offer.
