Pirates, I recently took a short trip to Florida, and while driving through St. Pete, I instantly fell in love with this hotel—and believe me, you would too.
The Don CeSar (4.2/5 on TripAdvisor & 2025 Travelers’ Choice Winner), also known as Florida's Pink Palace, is a founding member of the Historic Hotels of America and still preserves that ’20s vibe that feels straight out of The Great Gatsby.
As an honest pirate, I’ll say it’s not the cheapest stay you’ll find in St. Pete Beach, but this is one of those times where the experience makes it worth the splurge. Also… the sunset views? Some of the best I’ve ever seen.
