Spring is in the air, and with it comes some great travel news. If you haven't already heard, there are a few places that plan to reopen to tourism this spring; Kauai in April, Greece in May, and if you're already vaccinated you have even more options. Iceland is waiting for you and Ecuador has announced that vaccinated travelers will no longer need to provide a negative PCR test in order to enter the country.

Any traveler who visits Ecuador, including the Galapagos Islands, will either need to provide a negative PCR test taken no more than 10 days before travel (and 96 if visiting the Galapagos) or provide proof that they have been vaccinated.

Ecuador has also recently been downgraded by The U.S. State Department from the Global Health Advisory Level 4 to Level 3. Ecuadorian authorities require tourists to comply with social distancing and wear masks in public, as well as adhere to hygiene measures.

We hope the good news keeps coming and that more countries will soon be opening back up to vaccinated travelers.
