The 'Orchid Show' is Back to the New York Botanical Gardens for its 19th Year!

As spring quickly approaches, the New York Botanical Garden's famous orchid exhibit returns for its 19th year with The Orchid Show: Jeff Leatham’s Kaleidoscope. The show opened on February 26th and will run through May 1st.

Experience the breathtaking creations of the award-winning floral designer to the stars Jeff Leatham—known for his work as artistic director of the Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, with studios also at the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia, and the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills; and clients like Dolly Parton, Tina Turner, Cher, Oprah Winfrey, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and many others.

The show was originally scheduled for 2020 but had to be cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and this year Leatham brings a reenvisioning of the exhibit, transforming each gallery into a different color experience, like the turn of a kaleidoscope,

"I am thrilled to bring Kaleidoscope back to The New York Botanical Garden in 2022 — much like when you look into a kaleidoscope, the view is never the same," Jeff Leatham said in a statement.

You can explore this exhibit from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday through Sunday. Prices for tickets are $30 for adults, $15 for children 2 through 12, and free entrance for kids under two years.

Adults 21 and over can also visit their Orchid Evenings during March 26, April 2, 9, 16, 22, & 23; from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Here you'll be able to experience the exhibition at night with music, cash bars, and food available for purchase.
