Weekend Rates in Colmar, France from $109 per Night During Alsace French Wine Festival 🍇
From $109
The Alsace region of France is home to Colmar which is consistently rated as the prettiest village in Europe. During September through October, there are wine festivals celebrating the harvest of this year's grapes in many of the local villages such as Eguisheim (the "Beauty and the Beast" town).
Having been to this area last year, I cannot recommend it enough. You will feel like you're walking through a Disney film set and waking up to say, "Bonjour" to all the local pastry makers.
Alsace is an easy trip from Basel, Switzerland or you can make it part of a Paris or Germany trip. We've found rates in Colmar from $109 per night during the festival which is rare as most places are already sold out.
Stays in Alsace are always magical, but being in Colmar and Eguisheim for the Winegrowers' Festival and New Wine Celebration is a chance of a lifetime. Very few hotels have availability left, but we've found excellent rates for both weekends below. The rates below are for Saturday night, but you can stay on a Sunday night instead to save even more.

Colmar, Strasbourg, Eguisheim, and Riquewihr were the four must-sees in my opinion. You can see them all in 2-3 days and I highly recommend booking a Free Guru Walk for Colmar and Strasbourg if you have time.
Many people cycle through the region following the Wine Route which is roughly 105 miles long. But you can also just rent a bike for the day and cycle to a couple of villages near Colmar.
