Forget Albuquerque's Annual Balloon Festival... This is the largest balloon festival hosted on the East Coast! The Adirondack Balloon Festival is back for it's 51st annual celebration. Fly into Albany, New York and spend three nights in Lake George surrounding the dates of when the four-day festival takes place, September 19 through 22. We found a great deal on a 3-night vacation at a well-rated (4.5/5 on Tripadvisor) motel in Lake George, New York with flights starting from $331.

The festival is hosted in Queensbury, New York which is roughly a 12-minute drive from Lake George. The festival is FREE to attend.

If traveling from New York City, we recommend driving or grabbing the Amtrak service from the city to Albany from $82 per person and then pairing it with the 3-night hotel stay from $173 per person.
