• The 2026 dates for Advent Basilica have not been officially announced yet, but it typically runs from mid-November through New Year’s Day. In 2025, it ran from November 14 through January 1.

• If the Christmas markets are the main reason for your trip, late November through mid-December is the safest window for catching both

• The hotel is on the Buda side of the city, so you’ll need a short bus or taxi ride to reach the main markets on the Pest side
