After a successful first cohort of remote workers, this cool remote working program is back for round two. Movers and Shakas aims to recruit talented working professionals who want to relocate to Hawaii. Whether you are looking for a short work-ation or a longer, more permanent change of scenery, this might just be the most intriguing remote working opportunity we've seen yet!

Details

Who can qualify for the program?

Are you fully-employed and able to work from anywhere? Are you looking to invest yourself into a new community while living in paradise? If you answered yes, then you are the ideal candidate for the Movers and Shakas program. The program will choose 50 winners, who will be awarded with free round-trip flights to Hawaii.

Unlike some other remote working opportunities, there is no required minimum salary, however you must reside outside of Hawaii at the time of application. At the moment, the program doesn't offer work visas to international applicants, however they are hoping to open the program up to international remote workers with existing US work visas in the future.

Living the Aloha Life

If selected, you will need to move within one month of being notified and will be required to spend at least 30 consecutive days in Hawaii, though they hope you will stay for longer. After all, it doesn't get much better than spending your lunch break catching a wave or taking a dip in the ocean.

In addition to the flights, workers will receive significantly discounted hotel stays, co-working space, and regular community-building opportunities. Of course, this doesn't come completely for free, as you will be expected to donate some of your time (8-10 hours a week) to non-profit work while you are in Hawai'i.

Does this sound like the opportunity you have been waiting for? If so, submit your application as soon as possible HERE.
