United Airlines Launches Lots of Exciting New Routes

Exciting news in from United Airlines — they're starting (and restarting) 17 international routes in spring 2022. Some of our favorite destinations on the list include the Canary Islands, the Azores, and Amman, Jordan — all of which aren't even currently served by US-based carriers.

Moreover, heavy-hitting destinations like Japan and Germany are getting a big step up in frequency of nonstop service, and many of these routes aren't just limited to New York City! Take a look below for an overview of all the routes and their tentative start dates.

Only some of these routes are already bookable. The cheapest we've found is New York to Punta Delgada (Azores) from $636 round trip, but unless you're set on dates, it's likely prices will go down over the next few months if United doesn't see surprisingly strong demand.
