Space Camp for the Family 2021
From $199
We may have decided we belong to the seven seas, but that doesn't mean we didn't spend our childhoods dreaming of exploring space. And while our dreams of working for NASA might be a little unrealistic at this point, we have found the next best thing: Space Camp for adults and kids!
What is Adult Space Camp?
Head to the Marshall Space Flight Center and spend the weekend training just like the astronauts who get launched into orbit. According to the camp, while there, you will "train like an astronaut, see the hardware that took us to the moon and will take us back, take a tour of the galaxy in the Intuitive Planetarium and more on this guided experience."
The program runs 9am-5pm Saturday and 9am-3pm Sunday and allows you time to explore the Rocket Center at your own pace after program hours on Sunday.
Where is Adult Space Camp?
Just a few hours from major Southeast cities like Nashville, Atlanta, and Birmingham, you'll find yourself at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Birthplace of some of the first satellites and rockets to enter space, it has also been home to Space Camp since 1982. There is a Marriott Hotel conveniently located on the property and a Drury hotel within close proximity.
There are a number of programs bookable for the family or adults-only, depending on your interests. Follow the steps below to select your experience.
