Grab a Sleeper Train from Montreal to the Gaspé Peninsula from $75
Step Two: Book TrainThis isn't Ireland, the Faroe Islands, or even Newfoundland... This is a peninsula in Quebec, Canada called Gaspé. Below, we are going to show you how to reach this stunning hidden gem;
First, you're going to take an around 10-hr train from Montreal to the Gaspé Peninsula. Either stopping in Amqui (which we recommend for the better accommodation options) or Matapédia which both sit on the south side of the Gaspé Peninsula.
You're then going to book buses out of Amqui or Matapédia to properly explore the peninsula and all that it has to offer. We definitely recommend making your way to Gaspé village at the opposite end of the peninsula and also checking out the nearby Percé Rock.
Below, we've provided options for great-value hotels on the peninsula. Starting from $81 a night for a stay in the first stop of Amqui and $128 a night for a 4-star hotel stay in the iconic Gaspé village.
