New SkyTeam-Member Airline Offering Free Status Matches

Italy's new SkyTeam airline ITA is offering free status matches to status holder's from a ton of airlines, including United, Delta, and American. The process is straightforward, but you'll need to apply for the match by September 15th. All the details can be found below.

We've already done this match successfully at TravelPirates, using both our TAP and our United statuses to match to ITA Premium, which is SkyTeam Elite Plus. If you have any of the statuses listed below, this match is a no-brainer.

The process is straightforward, according to the ITA website you simply need to:

1. Sign up for ITA's program Volare.

2. Send an email from the address with which you signed up for the Volare program to [email protected] following the instructions below:

   a. Contained in the subject of the email: Status Match 2022

   b. Listed in the text of the email: Full name; "Program of origin" and "Status of origin" (e.g. Miles & More – HON Circle); Volare Frequent Flyer number, ticket number (according to the criteria listed in point 2 of the summary conditions)

   c. Please attach a legible copy of your current valid Frequent Flyer program card (digital or physical) and a copy of your identity card¹ (pdf, jpg format)
