Airbnb and Volvic have teamed up to offer a stay in a mini home with stunning views of the Chaîne des Puys volcanoes in the Auvergne-Rhodan-Alpes region of France. The host is record-holding mountain athlete Killian Jornet. Reservations will be available for one night only on September 18, 2021. Scroll down for all the deets!

Details

Guests will spend the night surrounded by 80 volcanoes in "LUMIPOD", a unique mini house concept combining indoor and outdoor space with amazing panoramic views. The price per night is only 1 euro (a bit over a dollar) and includes:

  • Virtual welcome talk with host Kilian Jornet

  • An on-site guided tour to explore the rich biodiversity of the natural park

  • A gourmet dinner for two with local products by local Michelin-star chef Adrien Descouls

  • Private morning yoga session with breathtaking views of the sunrise breaking over the volcano

  • A hike amidst the volcanoes organized by Volvic Global Ambassador and host Kilian Jornet

  • A balloon flight overlooking the Chaîne des Puys volcanoes

Guests will be able to spend time in the midst of nature and really relax. Additionally, they can learn more about volcanoes and ecosystems.

Reservations will be available on July 19 at 9:00 am on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested guests should note that the booking rules strictly adhere to local COVID-19 guidelines, and that they agree to abide by the laws of their country of residence regarding international travel and COVID-related safety rules and regulations.
