Taking advantage of the flexibility of living and working remotely, the selected person will be able to move to Sicily with his/her family, partner, or friend and move into the restored property.
What Profile are They Looking for?

In addition, you will be able to bring your partner or family (maximum two adults and two children in total).
The selected person will need to demonstrate their commitment as a host and their intention to participate in local life.
What will be Your Role?
You will live completely rent-free in a recently remodeled house, and you will receive guests for nine of the twelve months that you will live in the house. You will also be able to retain all earnings from hosting on Airbnb.
About the Town
The town is called Sambuca and is located on the island of Sicily, about 50 miles from Palermo. It has 6,000 inhabitants and was named as the most beautiful Italian village in 2016.
The House
The house is a traditional three-story Italian townhouse. The first floor consists of a small living room and a master bedroom with a king bed and a private bathroom.
The second floor is comprised of a living room, a kitchen, a work area, a bathroom, and a loft bedroom, also with a king bed.
The top floor has another living room with a queen-size sofa bed.
The selected person will get the chance to choose the bedroom that best suits their needs and must advertise the other room on the Airbnb platform.
How to Participate
Those interested in applying should go to airbnb.es/1eurohouse and complete the application form. Before filling out your application, it is important to carefully read the Terms of Selection available on the website.
Candidates must be 18+ years or older, be able to move to Sambuca on June 30, 2022, for at least three consecutive months, and have a fluent level of English (speaking Italian is a plus!). The selected person will have the opportunity to be part of an orientation program: learning Italian and attending Italian cooking classes. Candidates must commit to hosting a room in the house for at least nine months.
This person will be able to bring their family (two adults and two children maximum), a partner or a friend, and live in the house rent-free. During this time, you will receive all the income derived from hosting the other room through Airbnb.
