One Italian region, Lazio, (which includes the capital of Rome) is trying to prevent further economic suffering in their region and bring the industry back to life by offering couples €2,000 ($2,169 USD) to get married there.

The grant is open to locals and international couples alike, as long as you have the wedding now through December 31st, 2022.

You can redeem the money on any expense like cake, your honeymoon, wedding attire, or catering.

The only catch is that there is a finite amount of funding, €10 million (near $11 million) and once it's gone, it's gone - so you have to act quickly.
