Pirates, Hawaii has announced their plans to lift all their COVID-19 travel restrictions for domestic travelers this month.

Starting March 26th, domestic travelers won't be required to present a negative COVID-19 test, show proof of vaccination, or quarantine when traveling to Hawaii. International travelers will still be required to show a negative test taken 24 hours before departure and present proof of vaccination.

The news was announced on Tuesday by the Governor of Hawaii, ending the Safe Travel Program, which has been in place since October 2020.

Measures Changing & Still in Place

  1. Maui no longer requires testing or proof of vaccination for indoor spaces

  2. Honolulu will no longer require testing or proof of vaccination starting March 6th for indoor spaces

  3. Mask mandates will remain throughout the Islands

Adjustments to these rules will be made depending on changes in the current situation
