Have you ever tried to take photos of the Northern Lights? It's no small feat.

However, if you happen to be a passionate and experienced photographer, then this job offer is for you.

Details

A luxury hotel located on the south coast of Iceland — about 1.5 hours from the capital of Reykjavik — is calling for applications from aspiring photographers.

In exchange for the photos and videos captured, the hotel offers a free month's stay to the lucky winner. Round-trip flights, accommodation, meals, access to the hotel's hot tub and observatory are also included.

This is a real win-win offer since the hotel will get your high quality pictures and the winning photographer will build up a unique portfolio during a once-in-a-lifetime trip.

The photos and videos must be taken between mid-September and mid-October, obviously during hours of darkness, so you can capture the Northern Lights.

The prerequisites are as follows:

  • Be able to commit to 3 weeks

  • Provide high-quality photos and videos of the Northern Lights

  • Transfer the rights to your photos and videos to the Rangá Hotel for an unlimited period of time for promotional purposes, web publications and printing

To apply and get all the necessary details, please visit the hotel's official website.
