While Bali is currently closed to foreign travellers, that doesn't prevent us from dreaming of our next holiday or booking something in the future.

And this magnificent bamboo house makes us want to dream BIG! In addition to offering panoramic views of the rice fields, it also features a swimming pool, two bedrooms, breakfast and the use of a scooter to explore nearby attractions.

Our favourite part, however, is the price! When booking with a group of four, you can stay from $56 per person, per night. So go ahead and treat yourself to your dream trip in 2022!

Details

Welcome to Magic Hills Bali — a luxe 2-story eco-villa made from bamboo, located amid Bali's lush rice terraces, just over an hour's drive from Ubud.

Located on the edge of a valley with stunning views over the rice terraces, this villa is the perfect hideaway for travellers who are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of busier cities and experience the real Bali.

On the ground floor is the first bedroom, which is just a large open space with a king bed and a bathroom.

Wake up to the birds chirping before enjoying a delicious breakfast which is included in your stay. Breakfast choices include eggs, fresh fruit, banana pancakes, or Indonesian dishes such as Mie Goreng (a fried noodle dish) or Nasi Goreng (a fried rice dish).

In addition to breakfast, you can also order lunch, dinner and drinks from the onsite restaurant that provides in-room dining. There are even vegetarian and vegan options available.

Enjoy the breathtaking view over the quiet rice terraces as you enjoy your feast!

There is also a dining table, a lounge area and a hammock from where you can take a nice nap.

While the ground floor is completely open, with no doors or windows, there is no need to worry about safety here as the host is very close with all the local farmers in the area who are all very welcoming.

Upstairs you'll find the private master bedroom that features a private terrace and en suite.

The bedroom's ceiling is 8 metres high and boasts 360-degree views of the area.

Those who aren't afraid of heights will enjoy the net located off the master bedroom on the second floor that you can hang out on as you watch the beautiful sunset.

Located on the ground floor is an outdoor bathroom and shower.

We are getting some major jungle vibes! Don't worry, even though you are outside you'll have complete privacy.

Outside you have a private pool that also has the same stunning view of the rice terraces below where you'll see local villagers farming their fields.

To make it easier for guests to explore the local surroundings, the Airbnb host provides one scooter at no additional cost.

Nightly rates for this bamboo villa start from $224. When booking with a group of four, it is only $56 per person, per night!
