Owner GT Hill has spent 10 years converting the bunker into an underground luxury home with two bedrooms, kitchen and open-living space for up to six people.
Prices to stay there are stable throughout the year. During the week, it starts from $385 per night — that breaks down to $64 per person if six people are sharing. Weekend prices are slightly higher, and there is a 10% discount if you stay a whole week.

A little bit of background on the missile base first: The place was designed not just to survive a nuclear explosion, but also to launch a nuclear missile called Titan II. Later, in the 80s, the US government shut it down and demolished the entrance to the facility by filling it with water and soil. It was revived by GT Hill in 2010.
The stay begins with a top to bottom tour and orientation of the entire space. Hosts will help with luggage since it needs to go down 35 feet to the front door.
There are two bedrooms. One master bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with two double beds. There are three bathrooms. Board games and television (Netflix, Amazon Prime etc.) are included.
