Located 45 minutes from of Reykjavik, there's a new geothermal lagoon that has garnered attention in the past year. Hvammsvik Hot Springs is a natural geothermal spa that guests can pay to enter during the day, or there's a resort that recently opened up on the spa's property that offers an incredible overnight experience with private hot tubs. We found incredible and rare last-minute rates for a group stay on the property. You can stay in a private villa with three bedrooms that accommodates up to seven guests.
In total, the villa costs $775 after tax but that price is split between a maximum number of seven guests. The price nearly doubles after May, so this is great value! Also, incredible value when you consider the free private geothermal pool experience you get, rather than paying at least $100 to get into the famous Blue Lagoon.
