Every room at The View Hotel (rated 4.4/5 on Tripadvisor) comes with a private balcony overlooking Monument Valley, so you can wake up to those famous red-rock formations without even leaving your room.

The View has surprisingly affordable rates, so if you’re road tripping through the Southwest and want to make the most of your time here, it’s hard to beat the location. We’ve found fall stays from $217 a night, which is also a great time to visit. Temperatures are generally more comfortable than in summer, and you’ll avoid some of the peak-season crowds.
