Stay in a Fairy Tale-Like Cottage off the Coast of Canada!

We're all hoping to be welcomed back safely into our favorite neighboring countries again soon, but until then we'll be busy making our bucket lists for unique stays. One we particularly have in mind is this cozy Cob Cottage located on Mayne Island in British Colombia. This place appears to have been taken straight out of a fairy tale with its mushroom shape and private location in the woods.

The Airbnb cottage was made using local and durable natural materials and includes a central living space with cantilevered stairs leading to an attic bedroom.

The cottage also has a kitchen with a cooking niche, a fireplace, additional beds for children including toys for them, a bathroom, and a garden where you can relax. Of course, other amenities are also included, such as a coffee machine and free WiFi.

The island of Mayne itself is small and has a population of only 1,000. Around it is the Gulf Islands National Park, where killer whales can be spotted. When the weather is nice, you can go to one of the nearby beaches of Bennett Bay or visit the lighthouse.
