Netflix's 'World's Most Extraordinary Homes' show finds truly unique accommodation from all over the world.

Are you ready for another find from the show that you too can book? Here's an overnight igloo in Finland, where you can sleep under the dancing colours of the Northern Lights.

Details

Of course, the igloo can only be booked in winter - for obvious reasons. Is it cold inside? Yes. But real beds and warm sleeping bags are waiting for guests. However, the hosts also ask you to bring warm clothes, hats, socks, gloves, and whatever else you need to warm up. A flashlight will come in handy too. In case the guests get too cold, you can use the apartment next door to stay warm.

The igloo can sleep up to 4 people. There is also a (warm) house with a toilet, shower, kitchen, and living room, which guests can use freely.

However, it's not about the cold but the experience that awaits you here. After all, how many people can boast of having slept in a real igloo, surrounded by Finnish wildlife and the aurora borealis?

The igloo is located near Pyhäjärvi Lake and Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Depending on the date, the igloo is either next to the park, or on the horse farm where the lodge owners live.

The hosts also provide a light breakfast. Keep in mind that the nearest restaurants and supermarkets are around 6 miles from the igloo at the ski resort. So it's a good idea to stock up and take food with you - you can leave it in the kitchen, which has a microwave.

What is the cost of accommodation? $127 per person - not bad for a once-in-a-lifetime stay and bragging rights for life that you stayed in an actual igloo!
