The wooden villas of the Royal Island Resort are 613 ft² in size and have their own terrace and seating area, from where you have a wonderful view of the sea. They are elegantly furnished and have a luxurious en suite bathroom with a bathtub/shower, free toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobe, etc.

The resort is the perfect starting point for diving and boat trips, but other water sports such as water skiing and kite surfing are also possible here. The resort also has an outdoor pool, gym and tennis courts.

Getting There:

Royal Island Resort & Spa is 30 minutes by bike from Male International Airport. The transfer is organized by the resort and you pay the applicable fees yourself upon arrival. Transfer fees are notoriously high in the Maldives, so don't forget to factor that in to your overall budget.
