Stay in This Forest Cabin with Glass Walls—Fits Up to 6
This place feels straight out of a dream. You wake up in the midst of an ancient Mayan forest, swim in clear waters in your private cenote, and simply disconnect from the world. It's rare to find such a unique accommodation!
What is a cenote? Cenote is a type of natural karst well, formed in the limestone rock, found especially frequently in the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. The water in the cenote is often very clean. The cenote was the primary source of water for the Mayan people, some played an important ritual role, it was believed that these wells lead to the afterlife. Currently, you can visit them and also swim in them.
This private cabin is located in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. Here you can relax and disconnect from the surrounding world.
The place is completely surrounded by nature but has all the amenities for a pleasant stay. The cottage has a private dining room, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, barbecue, dining room, lounge, and of course, a PRIVATE CENOTE! Bicycles can also be rented on-site.
How much is an overnight stay here? With 6 people, the cost of accommodation starts at $263 for the whole house, but does not include Airbnb taxes and fees bringing the total to $377 for a one night stay. However, split between the max number of guests, you're looking at $62 per person—great value for such a unique, once-in-a-lifetime overnight stay.
