This hotel is giving us major Cinque Terre, Italy vibes but is within easier reach. Venture to Guatemala and stay in this breathtaking cliffside hotel. The well-rated La Casa del Mundo Hotel (4.5/5 on Tripadvisor) is situated right on the popular volcanic crater lake, Atitlán. This accommodation has incredible views, amazing food options, private lake access, and is surrounded by picturesque hiking trails. The best part in our opinion, is the fact that part of the villa is submerged in water and has swim-up access. We also love the outdoor hot tub with scenic views. You can book a stay for $60 a night—an absolute bargain when you consider other similar accommodations will cost you $100+.
