We've told you all about great treehouses to stay in around the world, sure. But we haven't had the chance to share many within the 50 states with you β€” there's not so many to begin with, and crazy-high rates combined minimal availability often make them of little interest.

One of the most wishlisted Airbnbs in the history of Airbnbs, the Secluded Intown Treehouse located smack in the city of Atlanta, Georgia is different. Read on to learn more about it!

Details

Brought to you by hosts Katie and Peter, there's a lot of reasons that this Airbnb is usually all booked up and so many folks have it on their Wishlist.

The treehouse consists of 3 separate areas β€” "mind" for the sitting room, "body" for the bedroom, and "Spirit" for the hammock deck.

As photos of the place make clear, it's located in an ultra-green part of Atlanta, with more than enough room to make you feel like you are far out in a forest somewhere. Having spent part of my childhood living not so far from this treehouse, I can confirm the nice feeling of falling asleep among the trees and waking up to birdsong.

One of the greatest things about this in-city treehouse is that you can access it pretty easily without a car, using MARTA and a quick taxi/Uber/Lyft ride. Though they also have plenty of parking if you want to drive.

While these prices can't compete with sub-$100 prices we often see abroad, $389 a night is good value for a unique stay in a major metro area in the US. Just remember, there's only one treehouse, so act fast and book if you find availability that might work for you!
