Though, these fantastic prices are during the late summer and early fall months, it's still a perfect time to visit the Lapland region of Finland, as the Northern Lights start to become prominent in mid-August! In mid-October, you can even expect some snow! Prices will more than quadruple in price come November through the end of March, so act fast!

How to Get to Lapland, Finland

The easiest and cheapest way to get to the northern Lapland region of Finland is to fly to the capital, Helsinki, and then fly onwards to Rovaniemi. However, we found decent round-trip flights to Rovaniemi from New York with short layovers in Helsinki from $672 during the fall months.
