The Airline is Celebrating Its First Anniversary by Selling the Best Seats for $1 More than Economy
From $109
In case you're not yet familiar, Breeze Airways is another brainchild of David Neeleman — think jetBlue or Brazil's Azul. Essentially, the airline appears to be attempting to offer competitive pricing with an experience that's more comfortable than low-cost competitors.
Breeze's first class is definitely light years ahead of anything low-cost airlines have to offer, and for the airline's 1st birthday, you can book first-class (nicest) seats for a whole $1 more than the extra legroom seats (nicer). Savings vary widely by route, but with first-class fares for as little as $109 one way, pretty much all of these fares are at least 70% less than what legacy carriers would charge. Some of their routes are also the only nonstop option.
