The internet is about to split into two camps: people who hate Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights, and people who make it their entire personality. If you fall into the second category, there’s good news. Airbnb has recreated Cathy Earnshaw’s bedroom at Thrushcross Grange in the heart of Yorkshire, and you can actually stay there. It’s free, wildly romantic, and designed to feel like stepping straight into the film. Here’s everything to know before booking opens.
Wuthering Heights opens in theatres on February 13th, and anticipation is already driving a surge in set-jetting travel. In response, Airbnb has partnered with Warner Bros. to launch one of the most immersive film stays we’ve seen in years.
The experience recreates Cathy Earnshaw’s bedroom at Thrushcross Grange in West Yorkshire’s Brontë Country, where much of the film was shot. It is not a subtle tribute. It is full immersion.
Searches for Valentine’s stays in West Yorkshire are up significantly among Gen Z travelers, and this limited overnight experience is clearly designed to meet that moment.

The bedroom has been reconstructed to mirror the film’s production design. Think skin-toned walls, layered fabrics, and details that blur the line between decor and bodily presence. Strands of hair are woven into furniture. Cushions appear veined, almost pulsing. The overall effect is intimate, slightly uncanny, and emotionally charged.

Production designer Suzie Davies described the goal as emotional accuracy rather than strict period detail. The result is a room that feels like a psychological portrait of Cathy rather than a museum recreation.
And here is my favorite touch: on Airbnb, the host of the experience is listed simply as “Cathy,” and the room description is written in her voice. It reads less like a rental listing and more like a fevered diary entry from Thrushcross Grange. That level of commitment? I respect it.
If you are looking for quaint cottagecore, this is not it. If you are looking for obsession, yearning, and Gothic romance, you’ve arrived
This is not just a themed bedroom. It is a curated, cinematic itinerary. Guests selected for the experience will receive:
A horseback ride across the Yorkshire moorlands
Traditional Yorkshire afternoon tea
A candlelit dinner inspired by Thrushcross Grange
A private listening session of Charli xcx’s “Wuthering Heights,” written for the film
An exclusive vinyl copy of the soundtrack
A visit to the Brontë Parsonage Museum
"Eggs and soldiers” breakfast as a playful nod to the movie

The stay is designed for two guests and includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Travel to Yorkshire is not included.
And not to be dramatic, but if I somehow won this experience, I would absolutely shoot my shot and ask Kate Bush if she wanted to join me and sing my favorite song together in that room. Just the two of us dramatically wailing “Heathcliff, it’s me, I’m Cathy” into the moorland air. In Cathy’s bedroom. In Yorkshire. It would be perfect, right?
