Based on a point system assigned to each metric, WalletHub compared the 9 largest airlines in the US and two regional carriers.
The 14 metrics were grouped into four major categories:

Safety
All of these came together to create a final score for each airline.

Using the point system mentioned earlier, here’s the final ranking for the airlines:

Delta Airlines

Southwest Airlines

Hawaiian Airlines

It’s important to note that while Spirit Airlines took the title of best overall and most affordable, Delta Airlines was ranked as the most reliable, and JetBlue and Hawaiian Airlines tied for the spot of most comfortable airlines.
