Thailand’s Giving Away 200,000 Free Flights 🇹🇭 ✈️

Pirates, this one’s pretty wild: Thailand is rolling out a new campaign offering 200,000 free domestic return flights to travelers from all over the world. Yep, free flights inside Thailand, just for booking an international ticket to get there.

Pirates, Thailand is launching a new campaign that could bag you a free round-trip flight within the country, just for booking an international ticket. Not bad, right?

Here’s the scoop:

  • The program is expected to run September–November.

  • You’ll get up to 3,500 baht (about €88 / $95) to spend on an internal return flight, including 20kg of checked luggage.

  • Six airlines are part of the scheme: Thai Airways, Thai AirAsia, Bangkok Airways, Nok Air, Thai Lion Air, and Thai Vietjet.

  • The goal? Get visitors exploring beyond hotspots like Bangkok, Phuket, and Chiang Mai—think smaller towns, authentic food, peaceful islands, and hidden temples.

The scheme (unofficially called Fly Thailand for Free) hasn’t fully launched yet, but the idea is simple:

  1. Book your international flight once the campaign opens.

  2. Apply for your free domestic ticket afterwards (details coming soon).

  3. Fly off to a part of Thailand most tourists skip.

🏴‍☠️ Pirate tip: Don’t just stick to the beaches—this is a golden chance to see mountain villages in the north, temple towns in the east, or quiet islands in the south.

The final green light from the Thai government is still pending, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as booking opens.
