In the hope that it may help them get adopted, the Kaua'i Humane Society dog shelter in Hawaii lets you take out one of their rescue dogs for the day on what they call a field trip.
For a donation of $40 - which goes towards the running of the shelter, travelers and locals alike can take one of the dogs out for the day to the beach or on a trail for a much-needed and loved walk.
Pick ups are between 10 am-12 pm and you have to drop them back before 5 pm.
