Pirates, Airbnb.org is stepping up once again to support those in need. In response to the Los Angeles wildfires, they’re offering free temporary housing to displaced victims—just as they did for hurricane victims last year.
As the California wildfires continue to devastate parts of Los Angeles, Airbnb.org is once again stepping in to help. They’re offering free temporary housing to those who have been displaced or forced to evacuate.
In partnership with 211LA, serving Los Angeles County residents, Airbnb.org is connecting affected individuals from areas like Altadena, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Pasadena, Santa Monica, and Sylmar to available accommodations.
If you or someone you know has been impacted, you can fill out a form with 211LA to request assistance and to find shelter during this time.
If you’re interested in helping those impacted, you can offer free or discounted stays through Airbnb.org. The platform waives all service fees for hosts and guests participating in this program. Plus, hosts receive protection with AirCover, which includes damage protection and liability insurance for every booking.
