Finland is introducing the world’s first phone-free tourist island!😱 If you're heading to Ulko-Tammio, you will be asked to keep your mobile phone and smart devices in your pocket.
“We encourage visitors to put their phones away and to focus their senses on nature rather than on their phones,” said Joel Heino, from Parks and Wildlife Finland. “This is a great initiative that could be implemented in other nature and recreational destinations, too.”
Don't worry though mateys, it is voluntary, and you can use your phone if you really want to, the island has a fully functioning mobile network.📱
