Greece Scraps All Entry Requirements for ALL Travelers

Yesterday (April 13th), the Greek Minister of Health Thanos Plevris announced that from May 2nd to August 31st, 2022, virtually all covid restrictions for both vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers (including from the US) will be lifted.

After 2 years of considerable travel restrictions, the Greek authorities expect a large number of visitors in 2022. It is predicted that tourism revenues this year will reach 80% of the record-breaking 2019 - the last year before the pandemic (Source: Reuters).

From May 2nd to August 31st, You Will Not Need Any Covid Documentation to Enter the Country

From May 2nd to August 31st, you will not need to present covid certificates to enter outdoor facilities or closed spaces, e.g. bars or restaurants.

From June 1st, wearing the masks indoors will not be compulsory.
