Most of us have probably used Uber while traveling, as it is an easy and convenient way to get from the airport to the city or to get around your vacation destination.

Now the company has launched Uber Boat and Uber Yacht! This summer you can use the services in Ibiza, Venice, Athens, Paris, Corfu, and Santorini.

Depending on the location, these differ slightly: In Ibiza you can rent a party yacht, in Venice you can travel through the city with a unique water Uber, and you can explore Paris with Uber Cruise:

  • Ibiza: Uber Yacht departs from the marina in Ibiza Town every day at 12pm until 20 August - reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance via Uber. The package price costs €200 per person and includes an 8-hour trip on a luxurious Sunseeker yacht. The price includes a personal skipper, transfers to and from the port, champagne, and regional tapas.

  • Venice: Between 8am–8pm. you can order a “limousine boat” via the Uber app. This costs between €120 and €150 and can carry up to six people.

  • Greece: Uber Boat is available with a skipper between 9am–9pm on Mykonos, Athens, Corfu, and Santorini. The service only offers access to water-accessible beaches, beach clubs, and picturesque bays. The minimum price is €200.

  • Paris: In Paris, fully electric boats were offered for a one-hour private tour on the Seine. This service ended on August 3.

According to Uber, availability of Uber Yacht, Uber Cruise, and all other Uber Boat trips is expected to be limited and dependent on weather conditions.
