+++ Spoiler alert: This post reveals some details about the series Squid Game, especially about the third episode +++

Everyone is talking about it, countless memes are already circulating on social media, and it's already number one in most countries where Netflix is available: we're talking about the Korean series Squid Game.

In short, the show is about highly indebted people who try their luck at various games to get their hands on a lot of money. The games are inspired by traditional children's games, but the punishment for the losers is anything but harmless. In the second game, the "Honeycomb Challenge," for example, the purpose is to remove a mold from a thin sugar honeycomb or caramel slab using a needle - under time pressure, of course, and without destroying the mold in the process. The candy is called Dalgona in South Korea and was particularly popular in the 1970s and 1980s.

At the Brown Butter café in Singapore, customers can now take on precisely this challenge. They can choose between the four shapes from the series, namely circle, triangle, star, or umbrella (not the best of choices).

But that's not the only location for fans of the Netflix series. A pop-up café opened in Paris and became popular very fast. Here, too, the "Honeycomb Challenge" could be tried out, as well as other games from the series.

And in keeping with the first game, "Red Light, Green Light," the killer doll was set up in front of a mall in Manila to keep an eye on a crosswalk and see red when someone jaywalks.
