If you've ever watched "Twin Peaks" you probably recognize this dreamy hotel next to Snoqualmie Falls in Washington State as "The Great Northern Hotel." But did you know you can stay there? The real hotel is called Salish Lodge and Spa and it really is perched atop a waterfall.
They even serve up a "Damn Fine Cup of Coffee and Cherry Pie" at the lodge. But if you want to recreate the magic of the show, visit Twede's Cafe in North Bend which was the Double R Diner in the show. It still looks almost exactly the same and, of course, serves coffee (hot) and a slice of cherry pie.
