A Full-Service Resort Steps From Yosemite's South Entrance — Stays for 4 From $209/Night
From $207.50
Two miles from Yosemite National Park’s South Entrance, Tenaya at Yosemite (rated 4.1/5 on TripAdvisor with more than 6,700 reviews) is a full-service resort where the daily activity lineup is included with every stay. Archery lessons, an 18-foot rock-climbing wall, mountain biking, gold panning, and nightly s’mores by the firepit are all part of the experience, with no extra booking fees required.
Guests can choose from lodge rooms and suites in the main building, cottage-style units tucked into the pines, or the newer Waybound Yosemite cabin enclave, a creekside collection of modern cabins with its own exclusive clubhouse. Rates start from $209 per night for four guests in December, which works out to about $53 per person. Summer stays are also available from $295 per night for four guests, or roughly $74 per person.
🏴☠️ Pirate Tip: Winter is Yosemite’s best-kept secret, with fewer crowds, snowy landscapes, ice skating at the resort, and a chance to see the famous Horsetail Fall “Firefall” in February. Fall and spring are also excellent for milder weather, thinner crowds, and some of the park’s best light.
