Kid-free flights are finally real, at least for one trip. JetBlue Vacations and Virgin Voyages launched Do Not Disturb, a package pairing an adults-only JetBlue flight with an adults-only Caribbean cruise. Bookings opened October 21, and all 60 cabins sold out by October 24.
For American travelers who've long wished for a quieter flight, it's a big test of demand. JetBlue says it's excited to explore what might come next, so more kid-free trips could be on the way.
JetBlue Vacations and Virgin Voyages announced the adults-only Do Not Disturb package on October 20, 2026.
The Do Not Disturb package pairs round-trip, adults-only JetBlue charter flights between New York's JFK and Fort Lauderdale with a four-night Virgin Voyages cruise, and every traveler must be 18 or older.
The package cost $2,750 for two travelers, including taxes, fees, and gratuities.
Only 60 cabins were available, and the package sold out by October 24, 2026, three days after bookings opened.
The trip runs March 4 to 8, 2027, aboard Virgin Voyages' Brilliant Lady, with stops in Key West and at Virgin Voyages' Beach Club at Bimini.
JetBlue says the adults-only charter will not change its regular flights, which still welcome families.
Virgin Voyages' adults-only ship Brilliant Lady hosts the Do Not Disturb cruise out of Miami.
The trip kicks off with an adults-only JetBlue flight from New York's JFK to Fort Lauderdale on March 4, 2027. From there, a private transfer takes guests to Miami to board Brilliant Lady, Virgin Voyages' newest ship, for four nights with stops in Key West and Bimini before flying home on March 8.
The $2,750 price for two covered round-trip flights, the cruise fare, gratuities, airport transfers, and a $100 Bar Tab credit per cabin. That works out to $1,375 per person. A limited number of guests also got access to JetBlue's BlueHouse lounge at JFK, along with an in-flight toast courtesy of Virgin Voyages, and everyone earned toward both JetBlue and Virgin Voyages loyalty rewards.

Demand showed up right away. Bookings opened at noon ET on October 21 with 60 cabins on a first-come, first-served basis, and by October 24, the package was listed as sold out, days before the original booking deadline.
Virgin Voyages said the response showed just how much appetite travelers have for kid-free trips. Online, reactions have been split, with some travelers eager to sign up and others saying it's another reason to skip JetBlue.
For now, this is a one-time flight. JetBlue Vacations president Jamie Perry told Inc. the charter was created just for this package and won't change JetBlue's regular flights, adding that the airline still loves welcoming families.
Still, the door is open. A JetBlue spokesperson said the airline is excited to explore what might come next after the strong response, and Virgin Voyages CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu called the package just the start of what the two brands can build. Future kid-free options could depend on how well this first package sold, and it sold out fast.
JetBlue's kid-free charter is a one-time flight, and the airline's regular flights still welcome families.
Missed the package? You can still book the same March 4 to 8 sailing directly with Virgin Voyages, subject to availability. You won't get the dedicated flight or package perks, but every Virgin Voyages cruise is adults-only.
On the airline side, fully kid-free flights are still rare. In 2023, Corendon Dutch Airlines added an adults-only zone on select long-haul flights, separating travelers 16 and older from younger passengers. On land, several hotel brands offer adults-only all-inclusive resorts or adults-only sections within larger resorts.
Adults-only cruises and resorts are another easy way to plan a kid-free vacation.
JetBlue's first kid-free flight proved that plenty of travelers will pay for a quieter trip, even if it's just a three-hour hop to Florida. The Do Not Disturb package is sold out and JetBlue's regular flights aren't changing, but both brands are hinting that more adults-only getaways could follow. Until then, an adults-only cruise or resort is the easiest way to plan a vacation without the kids' club crowd.
Not on regular routes. JetBlue's only kid-free flight so far is a one-time charter that's part of the Do Not Disturb package with Virgin Voyages in March 2027.
The package cost $2,750 for two travelers, covering round-trip flights between JFK and Fort Lauderdale, a four-night cruise, taxes, fees, and gratuities.
No. All 60 cabins sold out by October 24, 2026. You can still book the March 4 sailing directly with Virgin Voyages if cabins are available, but without the kid-free flight.
Only travelers 18 and older could book the Do Not Disturb package.

Nothing has been announced yet, but JetBlue says it's excited to explore what's next after the strong response.
A few do. Corendon Dutch Airlines added an adults-only zone on select long-haul flights in 2023, but fully kid-free flights are still rare.
