Your spooky road trip kicks off just outside Portland in the charming town of St. Helens—better known to fans as the real Halloweentown from Disney’s beloved film series. Each October, the town transforms into a festive Halloween extravaganza, complete with pumpkin-lined streets and props inspired by the movie. St. Helens also serves as a filming location for some scenes in Twilight—you can even drive past one of the set houses that Bella and her dad, Charlie Swan, called home. The other set house is in Forks, Washington which you'll see later on, on this trip. This year, the Spirit of Halloweentown events take place September 21 - October 31, 2025

From there, you’ll head west to the rugged Oregon coast and the iconic Cannon Beach. With its dramatic shoreline and towering Haystack Rock, it served as a backdrop for The Goonies’ treasure-hunting adventures. It was also featured in the moody Twilight series.
Head just 37 minutes north to the town of Astoria. This is another major filming location in The Goonies and is where you'll find the iconic house from the film. There's also annual Goonies anniversary festivities that take place in June. This past June was the 40th anniversary of the film.

You'll finish your trip by flying out of Seattle which is roughly a 43-minute drive from Snoqualmie.
