Frontier Airlines has relaunched its GoWild All-You-Can-Fly Pass for summer 2026, and this year it came out at its lowest ever introductory price. The catch, as always, is the booking window: this pass rewards flexibility above all else, so it's worth understanding exactly what you're getting before you buy.
The GoWild Pass is Frontier’s version of an unlimited flying subscription, and the summer version is definitely built for flexible travelers. The 2026 Summer Pass launched at $199 and lets pass holders book flights to 100+ destinations for a base fare of just $0.01 per segment, with travel valid through September 30, 2026. You can start flying as soon as you buy it, but there’s a catch: domestic flights can only be confirmed the day before departure, while international flights open 10 days out.
That means this is less of a “plan your dream vacation six months in advance” pass and more of a “pack a bag and see what’s available” kind of deal. You’ll still pay government taxes and fees on top of the penny fare, starting around $14.90 per domestic flight and often much more for international routes. Bags and seat assignments cost extra unless you have Frontier Elite Status, and the pass is non-transferable, so every traveler needs their own. For the right person, though, especially someone with flexibility, light luggage, and a high tolerance for last-minute planning, this could be a very fun way to squeeze a lot more travel out of summer.
The big headline this year is the price: Frontier launched the 2026 Summer GoWild Pass at $199, which is the lowest price it has offered for the summer version of the pass.
Frontier also added a few limited-time perks, though some are already gone. The early promotion that allowed pass holders to book flights with no blackout dates and dedicated GoWild seats on every domestic flight closed May 8. But there’s still one deal worth watching through May 31: early booking fees are currently waived on select travel dates, which means pass holders can lock in certain flights ahead of the usual day-before window without paying extra.
As always with Frontier, the details matter. Peak dates still come with a $99 early booking fee, and non-peak weekend departures from June 11 onward have a $49 early booking fee. But Tuesday and Wednesday departures remain at $0 for early booking through September 8, which could be a sweet spot for flexible travelers.
Frontier is also offering a referral bonus through May 31. Pass holders who refer someone to buy a 2026 Summer Pass can earn a $25 Frontier voucher per referral, up to $250 total.
This is the part that matters most for planning purposes. Here's how it works:
Travel April 22 through June 10: Most dates cost $0 in early booking fees. Peak dates (May 21, 22, 25) carry a $99 fee per segment.
Travel June 11 through November 19: Tuesday and Wednesday departures cost $0. Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday departures cost $49 per segment. Peak dates (June 25-28, July 2-6, September 3, 4, 7, October 8-9 and 11-12) cost $99 per segment.
If you can fly mid-week and avoid holiday weekends, you can keep the real cost very low. If you need to fly on a Friday in July, the fees add up faster.
The GoWild Pass is genuinely compelling for a specific kind of traveler: someone with a flexible schedule, no hard departure date requirements, and a willingness to book 24 hours out and just go. It works well for remote workers, retirees, people between jobs, or anyone who can treat a flight like a last-minute decision rather than a logistical event.
It's less ideal if you're coordinating with other people, need specific dates for a vacation, or want to book hotels and activities in advance around confirmed flights. The day-before booking window is the defining constraint, and it's a real one. That said, with the early booking option now available on select flights for a fee, there's a bit more flexibility built in than in previous years.
The annual pass version, which runs May 2026 through April 2027, is currently available to Discount Den members at a discounted rate of $399 through May 30.
The pass is valid for Frontier-operated flights only, not codeshare routes
Each pass holder pays $0.01 per segment plus taxes and fees, which start at roughly $14.90 for domestic flights
Bags and seats are not included and must be purchased separately
The pass auto-renews unless you cancel through your Frontier profile
No-shows are taken seriously: repeated no-shows can result in financial penalties or pass revocation
You must be a U.S. resident to purchase, and pass holders under 15 must travel with someone at least 15 years old
Refunds are only available if you cancel within 24 hours of booking and the flight is at least 7 days out
