Fly from New York 🗽 to London 💂‍♀️ in 3.5 hours? New Supersonic Jet Coming SOON

Sad you never got to fly on Concorde? Well, fear not because a new commercial supersonic plane is coming, thanks to manufacturer Boom.

And some big airlines are backing the company with American Airlines having just placed an order for 20 of the Boom Overtures taking the number of orders to around 120 when the plane rolls out later this decade.

The Overture will fly up to Mach 1.7 over water - about 1,300mph - double the speed of a regular commercial airplane.

At those speeds, you'll be able to get from New York to London in around 3.5 hours and from Miami to London in around 5 hours.

Prices are expected to be similar to what you'd pay for an equivalent business-class ticket.

Would you be up for a journey on one of these?
