If you're a pirate like us, it's unlikely that you'd be able to pay $9,999 for a night in the Maldives out of pocket. Even with splitting costs, the only way we're going is if a Conrad exec or a Kim Kardashian-type decide to comp our stay (if either happen to be reading, just drop your comment down below, and we'll get back to you).

The thing is, pre-COVID the Conrad charged $50,000 for ONE NIGHT in this underwater villa. So yes, this is quite a deal when put into context!

Now that we got that out of the way, you're either really rich and looking to book for — or like us — you're about ready to straight geek out on this one-of-a-kind, bucket-list property that gets spot number one on the once-I-win-the-lottery list. Either way, scroll on down for more info.

Details

Like many-a-resort in the Maldives, the Conrad's main feature is its lush overwater bungalows that Instagrammers never stop dreaming about. This place goes all out for every guest, just read all the great reviews on TripAdvisor.

But in 2018, the Muraka was opened to the public and the world saw it's first (and only?) underwater villa. We already knew this 5-star resort to be one of the top luxury spots in the Maldives, so it's pretty cool to see how they've taken on the challenge of offering guests the best money can buy.

Think tropical fish swimming all around you and the beautiful blues — even the restaurant is in a unique underwater room designed for leisurely meals accompanied by sea life all around you.

But just think, it could be you and your special someone sleeping and dining with the fish. Rumor has it you even get the chance to plant and name coral in the resort's coral nursery.
