Let me paint the perfect night in Greece for you: The most breathtaking sunset view in Santorini without massive crowds. Wine. Complimentary Greek meze platter. And when the sun goes down, Mamma Mia plays on the big screen. Too good to be true?

No, this actually is a thing in Santorini, at Volkan on the Rocks in Thira, and we went to it! You can book a ticket for €20 (roughly $21.78), which includes the screening of Mamma Mia, a seat early enough to watch the stunning Santorini sunset, and a small meze platter.

I did this in October last year on a solo trip to Santorini, and it was definitely one of the most memorable nights of my vacation, maybe even my life 😅. The views were incredible, and considering most sunset spots are incredibly crowded, it was nice to have a seat and have a beer without people fighting over the view spots.

💰 Additional drinks and food are available, but keep in mind they are quite pricy after luring you in with a reasonable ticket price. I had a couple of drinks and grabbed a cheap takeaway Gyros from elsewhere after the film ended.
