TSA & Airlines Will No Longer Enforce Mask Mandate!

Pirates, many destinations have dropped their Covid-19 regulations bringing back a sense of normalcy to travel we haven't seen since before the pandemic.

The TSA is joining this trend and has announced that they will no longer enforce the mask mandate on planes and airports across the US after a court ruling.

On Monday, April 18th, a Florida federal judge ruled that the CDC violated procedures by extending several times their mask mandate, which had been in place and enforced by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for most of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

“Today’s court decision means CDC’s public transportation masking order is not in effect at this time,” said a Biden administration official yesterday. The decision is currently in review, and potential next steps will be assessed.

Following the White House announcement, several domestic airlines have released statements confirming that wearing a mask in their aircraft will be optional for passengers, effective immediately.
