Nintendo World's US Debut Is Set For 2023!

Nintendo lovers rejoice, because Universal Studios Hollywood has announced that they will be opening up a brand-new Super Nintendo World in 2023. Back in 2021, we covered the opening of Japan's Super Nintendo World, but having one close to home is on the next level!

We get the gist — take all the Super Nintendo games you've seen in your TV, but imagine it all life-sized. We're willing to bet this park is going to be swarming with Millenials, you might even see us there!

Upon entering the park, you'll have the chance to snag a red-and-white Mario Bros hat, just like in the video game. Universal plans to overhaul them main shop and reinvigorate it with Nintendo goodies, such as plush dolls of all our favorite Nintendo characters.

Universal has been pretty tight-lipped regarding exactly what rides and themed dining experiences they'll be offering, but if it's anything near the one in Japan, you can bet it'll be a ton of Nintendo fun. It's almost a given that real-life Mario Kart will be on the table!

Orlando, Florida is also set to get a Super Nintendo World, but the opening date remains unclear. But the setup is planned to be different, since Universal said they'll include the park as a part of their larger work in progress; Universal's Epic Universe.
