Get Stuck in a Middle Seat If You Want a Free Sandwich!
In honor of National Sandwich Day, Subway is giving 10,000 lucky winners a free sub in exchange for a photo of them sandwiched into a middle seat. Even though I used to get free subs every shift when I worked at Subway as a high-schooler, a free sandwich still sounds kind of appealing, so if you think so, too, read on!
This one's pretty straightforward — grab a selfie of yourself in a middle seat and head to the Subway landing page to upload it on November 3rd or 4th. Don't have a selfie to upload yet? If you're quick ,you could probably book a basic economy fare and get stuck in the middle today or tomorrow. (not that that's an economical sound thing to do)
Subway will let winners know on or after November 5th and only US residents are eligible. The actual prize awarded as a $12 Subway gift card, so you'll have plenty of sandwich selection.
According to Subway, there are 10,000 sandwiches up for grabs, so I'd guess they won't get that many photos — but who knows. I for one, am interested to see if the exit row photo below will get me a free sub or not. If I win, you know you'll find me in the middle seat chomping away!
