You don't need to break the bank to have a unforgettable time in Paris, a lot of the best attractions are cheaper than you'd think or 100% free! Whether you're heading on a family trip, a romantic getaway, or going solo we've found the perfect activity for you!

1. The Louvre

The Louvre is arguably the best museum in the world! Between its beautiful art (cough, the Mona Lisa) to its incredible historical artifacts, there really is something for everyone!. The Museum is more than 650,000 square feet so it's a perfect all day activity!

The Louvre is opened every day, apart from Tuesdays, and will only set you back 15 Euro ($16.30 USD) for general entry, for a little extra you can go on a fantastic museum tour! If you're traveling between October and March entry is free on the first Sunday of each month. If you are under 26 the good news is you will also have free entry on Friday nights, I'd highly recommend going at this time to avoid crowds and to enjoy the fantastic view of the lit up Louvre Pyramid.

2. The Eiffel Tower

You can't visit Paris without seeing the Eiffel Tower! You can see the Tower for free from Champ de Mars, the park surrounding it, this is also the perfect place for a romantic picnic. If you'd like to go up the Eiffel Tower you have three options, the 1st Floor, 2nd Floor and the Summit. Make sure to head up to the Summit for absolutely fantastic views of Paris, but remember to take a scarf as it can get a little chilly.

Entry tickets can be very competitive and hard to get hold of, specially summit tickets, so I'd recommend booking a Skip The Line Tour. The tour will provide you with a guide to answer all your questions and access to all 3 floors!
